Letter of Recommendation and References

Please enclose one letter of recommendation. Choose an individual from your college experience who can speak to your character, maturity, intelligence, and overall personality. You should consider a professor, counselor, employer, or coach as an example. This letter should not be written by a friend or family member. Be sure to have them sign the seal of the envelope to signify confidentiality, and mail the letter to:

Personal Reflection Questions

1. Why do you want to do this? What inspires you or excites you about joining ASC? How do you see yourself contributing as a volunteer to the mission of Seattle Prep? What life experiences support this view?

2. One of the aspects of this year of service is an opportunity to reflect on your faith life, and on the Jesuit spiritual legacy for which you have inherited. What has been the most significant spiritual insight that you took away from your time at Seattle Prep? How has it had an impact on your life during college?

3. ASC emphasizes intentional community and spiritual/personal development. What are your hopes and expectations for community living? How do you desire to grow personally and spiritually from this experience? What would you contribute to community?
