Advanced Placement and College Credit Courses

Prep Panthers score 24% above the national average

Excellence in action: Seattle Prep’s AP exam pass rate surpasses the national average by 24%

An aim of Jesuit education is to ignite a passion for learning in students. When an academic area sparks curiosity in students, Seattle Prep provides opportunities to deepen exploration of these topics through highly challenging courses.

Prep offers a variety of college-level courses for juniors and seniors. Advanced Placement (AP) and college credit courses give students challenging academic experiences in multiple disciplines with the potential to earn college credits while still in high school. These courses complement our existing rigorous college-prep curriculum.

  • While all students are encouraged to try an AP or college credit course, individual students should work with their counselor to determine the best fit for these courses.
  • All students enrolled in AP Courses are required to take the corresponding AP exam in May.
  • Students enrolled at other schools may NOT take AP exams at Seattle Prep.
