Seattle Prep celebrated athletic excellence at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony—

honoring former basketball coach Michelle Hall, cross country champion Max O'Donoghue-McDonald ’07, tennis star Jeff Eicher ’97, and the remarkable 2002 Girls Basketball Team. The Prep community gathered to commemorate the indelible contributions these inductees have made to the school’s athletic legacy. These new Hall of Fame inductees are inspirations to current and future generations of athletes, embodying the values of excellence, perseverance, and teamwork that define the Panther spirit.

Michelle Hall, a coaching luminary, dedicated two decades to Seattle Prep, crafting one of the most impressive coaching legacies in Prep's history. Under her guidance, the Panther girls basketball teams achieved unparalleled success, hoisting multiple trophies, including back-to-back Metro Championships (2001, 2002), a District Championship (2008), and the school's sole State Championship in 2002.

Jeff Eicher '97 made tennis history as the first male player to secure four consecutive WIAA State Singles titles (1994- 1997), leading the Panthers to four team state championships. A nationally ranked junior player, he continued his tennis journey at the University of Washington, competing at the Division 1 level.

The 2002 Seattle Prep Girls Basketball Team etched their  names in school history by securing the first-and to this day, only-state title in the sport. Guided by the coaching brilliance of Michelle Hall, this remarkable team concluded the season with an impressive 27-2 record.

Max O'Donoghue-McDonald '07, a Washington State running legend, secured consecutive WIAA State Cross Country Championships in 'OS and '06. He added two State titles in the 3200M ('OS, '07) on the track. A key leader for the Panthers, Max contributed to top five team finishes in State throughout his time at Prep.
